Military Ball--Dec. 1, 2006

Jenna and Alyssa and a group of about 15 kids from ROTC went to the Military Ball together. It is so nice that they go as a group with some of them having dates and some not. No one really feels left out that way and they all get to go. Alyssa did have a date and Jenna went with another friend of hers with a guy escorting them. They all went to Red Robin for dinner and then to the ball. This dance is for all the ROTC groups in the local high schools so it is HUGE! The guys who are in ROTC all wear their uniforms and it looks so nice. They all rented a limo to get there to so none of it was too outrageously expensive. We have been fortunate enough that a friend of ours whose daughters are now grown have quite a few formal dresses that they have loaned us for the girls to wear. Jenna did want to buy her own dress this year so she did.
