The Word of the Day is.....

...cookies! Tara decided to do this one day. I guess it might be evidence of her being homeschooled last year (and while the girls were). I think it's a pretty great "word of the day". Maybe I'll go make some!

Cleaning, Organizing and Purging

Lately, I have let go of a lot of activites in order to spend more time on my house and family.  One of the first things up is cleaning and organizing all the rooms in the house.  We started with the girls' rooms.  Sammy had cleaned Alyssa's stuff out of her room when she left, but it still needed some work and I had to move Tara into her bedroom.  Obviously she was a lot of help.....

Then Duncan came up to help as well.....

We did finish both girls' rooms and now we are on to the next area...the girls' bathroom!

The Last Day of Shelly’s Visit

So on Shelly's last day here we went to church in the morning and then went to brunch with my brother, mom and her husband and the girls. Tim was working at the Air National Guard so he didn't get to go with us, but he did get to hang out with us that night afterwards until he went to the fire station at 8pm.

Sammy got ahold of the camera and took a bunch of pictures of herself with everyone.

She even was kind enough to take pictures of other people.

After we got home and so did Tim, he took Shelly for a ride in the Ural.

I am so glad Shelly got to come and visit. It had been way too long and we always have so much fun when she is here!
