There did end up being about 240 people or so at the wedding. It was a little tight, but looked just like an Italian village gathering together for a celebration. It was really awesome. Alyssa had my camera for most of the wedding and then laid it down so Tim put it in our bedroom and I couldn't find it until afterwards so I am posting the pictures she did get, but I should be getting more soon from the bride's mom and will post them as well.
We were a little concerned about the weather, but God just used the clouds to cool things off a bit
The procession...yes, that is me in the background, directing when everyone should start walking (I'm not sure how I ended up with that job; I guess I am good at telling people what to do....LOL, not really)
The flower girl and ring bearer...they were sooo cute!
The bride starting her walk...yes, that's me again holding her train so it wouldn't get dirty
The wedding party...aren't they beautiful!
Communion...someone made that cup for the wedding
The kiss!
The head table setting...we served ciabatta bread and dipping oil with balsamic vinegar and cracked pepper while they took pictures. It was quite a hit!
Our little Italian village
The food table...we had pasta salads, broccoli salad, artichoke-rice salad, olives, meats and cheeses, bread, and little skewers with mozarella, basil and tomatoes

WOW, you pulled off the Italian theme throughout the wedding! I love how the food even matches your house! And it looks fabulously yummy too!
Diann - everything looks just beautiful!!!!!! What a neat idea to have people sit at tables during the ceremony. I guess I didn't realize the actual ceremony was also at your home (not just the reception). What a HUGE, HUGE job for you all!
Hope you'll post some more pictures. I'd love to see the wedding party.
Now you can rest and relax. :)
What FUN! Sounds like it was a huge success.
You did it. What a wonderful gift you gave this bride and groom. It all looks great.
Looks gorgeous! I think you and your dear family have made that special day about as lovely as it could be (with help from God, of course :)
Congratulations again
And thanks for sharing the neat pictures. Love that communion cup! Will the bride and groom get to keep it or was it on loan?
Diann,
You did a great job! Everything looks wonderful!
