Our First Pizza Party...Feb. 21, 2007

Wednesday night after we moved in we got to have our first pizza party and use the new pizza oven. It was sooo much fun! My f-i-l had given us some pizza dough he had gotten from work (he works for a food distributor) and we used that to make pizza. I went to Trader Joe's (our favorite place for fun pizza ingredients) and got stuff for the pizza and we got started. Tim started the fire early and got the oven all ready.

Now, we did make a "regular" flavor pizza (i.e. pepperoni and cheese), but most of our pizzas were with different sausages, goat cheese, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, etc. in all different combinations. We can't wait to try even more pizzas and would welcome any suggestions for fun and sort-of unusual topping combinations (nothing too wierd, though, we really aren't into raisin and curry pizza or anything like that, but we welcome all sorts of suggestions).
