I didn't get the chance to post this picture the other day. Tim has been working on the rockwork for the stove area. It isn't grouted yet, but it looks so great I wanted to post it anyway. You really need to click on it and look at it in a larger picture to see how awesome it looks.

I love the way your fireplace is shaping up. In AK our house had a fireplace made of stone - in brown tones....so warm and welcoming.
That's BEAUTIFUL! Now.. is it a fireplace or stove as in cooking stove/oven?
Our two stoves will go in there. Tim is in the process of painting it as we speak so it will be ready when they deliver the island later in the week and then the appliances. To the right of it is the wood burning pizza oven that we will put some type of mosaic tile on, but it doesn't have to be done until later and we can still use it before then. It was the only way we could get a wood-burning anything in the house was to have it be a cooking appliance. Our fireplace is actually a gas fireplace and then we will have another free standing gas fireplace that looks like a wood-burning stove in the master bedroom.
