Update on Tim--Nov. 22, 2006

After I posted Tuesday night I talked to Tim again. He told me he had talked to one of the other captains from the fire department and they weren't going to let people go back until they were able to come back fully healed, full-time. I could tell he was really disappointed, but knew that the doctor even letting him go back part time was a good sign. Yesterday he talked to one of the Batallion Chiefs and they said that he gets to go back part time starting Saturday night. This means he will work from 8pm-8am. He is sooo excited I can tell. You would think that by going back at night he wouldn't have to run as many calls, but not at the stationed where he is assigned right now. They have a lot more calls at night! Tim will work four shifts and then go back to the doctor on Dec. 5th. The girls are already picking out a "chick flick" to watch Saturday night.
